Health-E™ Maximum Strength by Equine Medical & Surgical Associates contains more than 16,000 IU per ounce of vitamin E. This is a very high dose of vitamin E for horses, which may be appropriate for horses without access to pasture, that compete or when ill.
Vitamin E helps provide maximum beneficial support to the horse’s immune system, liver, skin and hair. It helps support building immunity to disease, helps enhance muscle function and helps lessen muscle soreness. As an added benefit, Health-E also encourages the growth of a shiny, healthy haircoat.
This supplement was developed by veterinarian Dr. Frank Reilly to provide senior horses and horses with neurological issues high levels of vitamin E to get them back to peak performance quickly.

Why Your Horse Needs A High-Potency Vitamin E Supplement
Vitamin E is an important, overall antioxidant that helps protect cells and helps prevent disease. It provides health benefits for eye, liver, neurological and immune function, plus benefits the skin and coat. Horses are unable to produce vitamin E on their own. Recent studies show senior horses and horses under stress need high levels of vitamin E, approximately 10,000-15,000 units, for extra support.
Directions: Scoop (1 Tbsp) enclosed. Maintenance: 1 scoop daily mixed with feed in the morning. Intense therapy: 2 scoops daily, 1 each in morning and evening. From biggest to smallest, all horses get the same amount.

Exceptions: Safety items such as helmets and protective vests may only be returned within 30 days, with their original tags intact. Saddles and riding boots may be returned within 90 days, but are subject to a prorated refund based on usage. Used saddles may be returned for 30 days only. For everyone’s protection, treats and vet meds which have been opened are not returnable, and returned blankets must be clean and free of debris. Underwear is not returnable or exchangeable.
Special Conditions
To protect all customers and ensure that every return or exchange is handled fairly, we may require a receipt or decline a return in these situations:
- Item was not purchased directly from Dover Saddlery. (It was purchased at a used tack sale or from a retailer or online seller other than Dover Saddlery.)
- Item is missing a label or has been defaced.
- No receipt and no valid identification in our stores.
- Item is wet, dirty, or contaminated, or until it has been cleaned. (For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on used, defective, or poorly fitting blankets if they are UNWASHED.)
- Item has been lost, stolen, damaged, or misused.
- On rare occasions, based on the nature of prior transactions.
- Supplements have been opened or used.
- Multiple returns of the same item.
- Personalized items may not be returned unless defective.
