Free from sugars, fillers and artificial colors, Finish Line® Apple-A-Day™ Electrolyte powder for horses helps replenish electrolytes and minerals lost in daily activities such as sweating, urination and defecation. Apple-A-Day is made in the USA and designed to encourage healthy water consumption and appetite and to support healthy nerve and muscle function.
Horses depend on electrolytes and minerals for many bodily functions, such as maintaining cellular fluid balance, the transmission of nerve impulses and healthy muscle function. When horses lose large volumes of sweat, they lose considerable amounts of these electrolytes and minerals which can result in dehydration. If left untreated, dehydration can lead to muscle spasms, poor oxygen and energy transport throughout the body, heart and kidney problems, anhidrosis, poor recovery and more.
Horses’ thirst response can be depressed because of dehydration or sweat loss. Apple-A-Day helps promote healthy hydration in the horse and is balanced for electrolyte and mineral loss that can occur from daily activities. Because it does not contain any sugars, it is safe to feed your horse regularly. Some equine electrolytes contain added sugars, labeled as dextrose, which can impact your horse’s health when given for long periods of time.

Directions: Mixing Apple-A-Day™ with the feed rations is recommended. Can be dissolved in water. If given in water, provide a source of plain water as well.
Give ½ ounce daily for horses at rest in a cool environment or for horses performing light work at normal temperatures. Feed 1 ounce daily for horses doing moderate work at normal temperatures or light work in hot climates. For heavy training in normal temperatures or moderate work in hot climates, feed 1.5 ounces daily. During intense training in hot, humid climates, feed 2 ounces daily. Enclosed scoop holds 1 ounce.

For manufacturer's defects, we'll extend the manufacturer's warranty to a maximum of 24 months, regardless of their individual policies. Manufacturer warranties longer than 24 months will be honored and supported by us as well up to the length of those warranties.
Exceptions: Safety items such as helmets and protective vests may only be returned within 30 days, with their original tags intact. Saddles and riding boots may be returned within 90 days, but are subject to a prorated refund based on usage. Used saddles may be returned for 30 days only. For everyone’s protection, treats and vet meds which have been opened are not returnable, and returned blankets must be clean and free of debris. Underwear is not returnable or exchangeable.

To protect all customers and ensure that every return or exchange is handled fairly, we may require a receipt or decline a return in these situations:
- Item was not purchased directly from Dover Saddlery. (It was purchased at a used tack sale or from a retailer or online seller other than Dover Saddlery.)
- Item is missing a label or has been defaced.
- No receipt and no valid identification in our stores.
- Item is wet, dirty, or contaminated, or until it has been cleaned. (For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on used, defective, or poorly fitting blankets if they are UNWASHED.)
- Item has been lost, stolen, damaged, or misused.
- On rare occasions, based on the nature of prior transactions.
- Supplements have been opened or used.
- Multiple returns of the same item.
- Personalized items may not be returned unless defective.
