Equine Elixirs OM3GA® for horses offers vegan omega-3 fatty acid support and is a source of liquid vitamin E. This revolutionary supplement uses EPA and DHA harvested from algae instead of fish. Fish oil smells and tastes bad, contains marine pollutants and is not a natural part of the horse’s diet. OM3GA balances dietary sources of omega-3 fatty acids containing anti-inflammatory properties with the unique addition of 3,214 IU of vitamin E per serving.
Many equine feed and oil products are deceptively high in omega-6, which throws the desired omega ratio out of balance. Common fats from corn, soy, coconut, canola and rice bran, often labeled as “vegetable oil,” can contain more than 55 times the amount of omega-6 to omega-3.
The horse’s normal grazing diet contains an omega-3 ratio upwards of five times the amount of omega-6 fatty acids. But only omega-3 fatty acids contain anti-inflammatory properties whereas omega-6 fatty acids create inflammation. Though some inflammation is the body’s way of defending against injury or infection, chronic inflammation has been linked to major equine health issues including laminitis, insulin resistance, metabolic disorders and allergies.
Feeding a supplementary omega-3 fat source provides many benefits. Omega-3 fatty acids delay the onset of fatigue and can be used as preferential muscle fuel especially for metabolic, insulin-resistant and carbohydrate-sensitive horses requiring a low-sugar and low-starch diet.
With all-natural vitamin E (alpha tocopherol) and sea buckthorn oil, OM3GA will rebalance your horse’s omega-3 fatty acid ratio, reduce oxidative stress and support a lustrous coat, mane and tail.

Exceptions: Safety items such as helmets and protective vests may only be returned within 30 days, with their original tags intact. Saddles and riding boots may be returned within 90 days, but are subject to a prorated refund based on usage. Used saddles may be returned for 30 days only. For everyone’s protection, treats and vet meds which have been opened are not returnable, and returned blankets must be clean and free of debris. Underwear is not returnable or exchangeable.

- Item is wet, dirty, or contaminated, or until it has been cleaned. (For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on used, defective, or poorly fitting blankets if they are UNWASHED.)
- Item has been lost, stolen, damaged, or misused.
- On rare occasions, based on the nature of prior transactions.
- Supplements have been opened or used.
- Multiple returns of the same item.
- Personalized items may not be returned unless defective.
