The Neue Schule Pony Tranz Angled Lozenge Full Cheek Bit with 10 mm Salox® Gold mouth and stainless steel cheeks has a design that is excellent for directional control and tight turns. Due to the classic full cheeks, the mouthpiece will not slide sideways in the horse’s mouth during turns.
This NS full cheek bit is highly recommended for the child rider who may not fully support their inside rein. It is often sourced for the novice pony and may be used with keeper loops.
Salox Gold mouthpiece metal is a high copper alloy formulated to rapidly reach and maintain the temperature of a horse’s mouth. It encourages softness and relaxed bit acceptance.
The Tranz Angled mouth is an ergonomic, comfortable design that encourages consistent contact. The rounded center lozenge is set at a 20° angle to activate feel over the tongue. When contact is taken, the lozenge rolls gently down to contour smoothly over the tongue’s thicker, less sensitive center, thereby enabling clearly defined rein aids. Arms are slightly curved for comfort and oval shaped to take up less room between the tongue and upper palate than circular mouthpieces.
