Mountain Horse still operates from the same village of Vallda, Sweden in which it was founded, and it still focuses on combining fashion with function, practicality, style, comfort and durability. It remains a family-run operation as well, with Sjöswärd’s son, Bertil, in the role of CEO and his daughter, Catherina, as strategic brand manager. Sjöswärd’s youngest son, Rolf, joined the company to supervise all footwear development.
