The Equilibrium Therapy® Magnetic Rug for horses is designed to help support mobility, aid joint function and assist in maintaining overall wellbeing. It’s made of breathable, soft and strong poly/cotton twill with an anti-rub lining at the chest, points of shoulders and detachable neck. Six powerful, moveable, 25cm Vitaflex® magnets let you target therapy to specific areas of your horse.

The Magnetic Rug is ideal for horses in work, retired horses and those on stall rest or stabled for long periods. It fits easily into your routine; use it before or after exercise or even overnight.

It’s easy to use as part of your horse’s daily routine. The nylon hook receptive inner lining lets you attach the magnets where your horse needs them.

What’s special about Vitaflex magnets?

A body’s cells have electromagnetic properties, which means they can be affected by a magnetic field. Vitaflex magnets present two alternating poles to the body, negative and positive, making them different that standard Neodymium magnets, which present only one pole. These strong, circular and permanent magnetic fields of alternating pole sequences penetrate into body tissues. 

When should the Equilibrium Therapy Magnetic Rug be used?

To help maintain your horse’s back health, use it every day as part of your horse’s daily routine. It is ideal for horses:

• In work, from hacking to competition.
• Slow to warm up.
• On stall rest.
• Stabled or standing for long periods.
• With limited turnout.
• With general knocks and bumps.

Caution: Do not apply Vitaflex magnets to open wounds, bruises, areas of inflammation or for the first five days following steroid injections.
