While the boots are well made and sturdy, they are not suitable for a horse with large ankles; there is no "cup" to surround the joint, so on my big OTTB with big ankles, they just sort of flap in the wind. They also tend to run small - the mediums I bought (sufficient for the front in other brands) wouldn't even connect around Casey's leg. I haven't been able to use them and I found another brand at a similar price that performed much better to my expectations.

Excellent product. This is the second set I purchased, having worn out the first set. My horse interferes occasionally and these have prevented any problems, yet are lightweight and seem comfortable for him.
