The features that I liked most are that they easy to put on, use a perforated neoprene to allow air flow to the legs to help cool them, and that they do not absorb water. Also they come down over the fetlock all the way around, to help protect more area.

Great XC boot! Perforated, doesn't hold tons of water, nicely sized strike pad, fit my 15.3HH OTTB mare like a glove. These boots offer more support than a galloping boot with no extra weight/bulk and without being stiff. Take duct tape well for competing. Wash well, easy to clean, all and all a great boot!
