After not riding for 17 years, I started leasing a horse. I rode in a very old Equibette for a year. I finally bought my horse and needed my own saddle. I had NO idea what to get and fell in love with this saddle on the rack. I bought this saddle, tried it on my horse and ended up having to put the med/wide gullet bar in it. I LOVE this saddle! My horse LOVES this saddle. We ride for hours at a time with NO problems! I will keep this saddle FOREVER, I am buying a collegiate right now for my upcoming show season but this will be my riding saddle forever! I get good contact and balance.. much better balance than in that old Equibette! My only ONLY complaint, it gets VERY warm on warm days and makes me sweat more! but I can hose it off if it gets muddy! I recomment getting the ovation gel girth to go with it.. they make a GREAT pair.
