This is an excellent saddle for any level rider who wants a low maintenance saddle that looks great, can be used in any weather, and is comfortable. I have to say this is the one of the most comfortable saddles I have ridden in. I also like the medium/deepish seat it has too. The only negatives that I can think of are when it is cold, it is a hassle to pull down the stirrups from the synthetic leathers, and the whole saddle becomes very very stiff. Also, when you wear tall boots (it hasn't happened to me with half chaps), but I've found that the saddle and the boots are very squeaky and they can be distracting when you are riding.
