I have five of them that I use in my lesson program. The gullet system is a lifesaver. I don't know how anyone can go without it. I have to change the gullet out 2-3 times a year as my horses change shape with the seasons.  -  Thursday, September 11, 2008 Reviewed By: Karen (WA) I have used Wintec saddles ever since I discovered them while I was living in Australia in 1993. This saddle is amazingly correct, and comfortable. It has a slightly soft seat so your tailbones can keep a solid contact but comfortably. The changeable gullet has been a god-send as I have had to sell (at a loss) leather saddles as I changed horses. I have jumped cross-country in this saddle and found it wonderfully secure. The easy-care aspects of it have also been great. Other saddles that I have, but have not used for a long time for some reason, get a bit of green mold, but never my Wintecs! These saddles are MUCH easier to sell 2nd had if you do ever need to, because the changeable gullet means the buyer can purchase whatever seat size you have, and get the gullet he or she needs and change it out easily.  -  Sunday, August 31, 2008 Reviewed By: debra (new jersey) i do not recomend this saddle at all. my daughter has it for her pony and it is not a good saddle. it doesnt let you pinch your knees on a horse because the padding is too thick and it doesnt let you sit on your tailbone becasue it curves up at the cantle. i recomend a good leather saddle and not a wintec.
