Vienna Lunge Reins
Used by the best in Europe. These lunge reins are gaining popularity in the U.S. They encourage the horse to round and release his back, working in a classically correct manner to develop properly. One size.

Should NOT be used on young horses. Anything that attaches to the girth will "teach" the horse a head frame and it will never learn proper contact.

Great product! I like them a lot more than regular side reins, you can really get the horse to stretch down.

I rode in Germany for years and they use these training reins for all their young horses and young riders. They are wonderful! The horse teaches himself that it is more comfortable to carry himself in the "correct" way. When riding, they assist the rider in getting the horse round, relaxed and through - when used properly, these training reins are loose when the rider has the horse on the bit herself. They do not hold the horse's head down like so many other things on the market - they are truly a training aid. Once the horse and rider have the feel - these reins can be removed.
