I agree with first reviewer that the place where the elastic is stitched to the girth creates ridges on the inside of the girth against the horse, creating a potential for rubs.

The elastic is too stretchy and it is stitched onto the girth about 4 or 5 inches below the buckles leaving a bulky/indented area and the potential for rubbing. I can't figure out how the elastic is secured to anyting other than the girth. Doesn't leave me feeling comfortable about the safety of this girth.
