I got this coat for Christmas and I love it! It's perfect to do stalls or ride in. I got a bigger size thinking I would need to put a sweatshirt under it sometimes, but i am warm enough in just a t-shirt and my coat. I would highly recommend it to anyone that rides in the cold. =)

This my very first MH Jacket and it sure beats those 3 in 1 jackets. It's not bulky. It's warm, cuts the wind and I was just outside in the barn with a windchill of 1 degree and all I had underneath was a long sleeve t-shirt. I love the lining because you can get in and out easy. The exterior wears very well when my horse rubs against me. Wore it in the rain and viola, seems waterproof! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Just bought this 2011 version to replace one that was about 14 years old. I no longer ride or spend much time in the barn but have continued to wear these jackets because of the style, weight and warmth. They are great for most days in the winter and allow for ample movement. The pit zips are great if you are wearing it while very active. I like the outer shell of this new style -- both the fabric and styling -- and I think the hood has been improved (though I don't really use the hood). While the sateen lining is warm, it simply isn't practical as it snags and frays very easily. MH should explore alternative, more durable lining fabrics.
