This saddle keeps you in perfect position but it is SO uncomfortable. I down own the BDH, My 2of my friends do and i hate riding in it! I have the pessoa gen x and everyone loves that saddle better (including the BDH owners) i wouldn't suggest this saddle at all. It is te most UNCOMFORTABLE saddle you will ever ride in!

I purchased the BdH special without previously having ever seen one in person. When it arrived I was overjoyed with it's craftsmanship and quality leather. It is also as comfortable as any other saddle I've tried in it List Price range. It fits both of my oldenburgs perfectly (I have the regular tree). I have been riding in it almost daily now for the past six months and I just couldn't be happier with the saddle.

I purchased the elite version of this saddle when it went on sale about two years ago. It seemed great out of the box but when I went outside it didn't fit a single horse in the barn!!! It might fit if your horse has super narrow shoulders but it didn't fit any of our quarters or appendix quarters.
