I bought these fleeces as a cheap alternative to more expensive real fleece covers- and thats basically what they are. The poll fleece fits nicely over my hamilton nylon halter (my mare rubs horridly) but the noseband wouldn't stay velcro-ed- have not used the cheek peices, cannot comment on their sizing. Velcro holds well when the fleece fits well or can be slid into position. The fleece doesn't seem to pick up unusual amounts of dirt or hay and this seems to brush away easily. Mine haven't flattened yet, which is a surprise, but this fleece is on a non-turnout halter that hangs in the aisle more than its used.
