inexpensive, looks sharp, won't last forever

I like the unusual color, looks good on my black horse. sizing is LARGE. The throat snap broke after about a year, which makes the halter less useful, and there's no way to fix it. OK for $25, not for more. Another review here from "Jennifer C from Texas" is not mine. I had an original review that has been removed.

We bought this halter about 6 months ago for a head strong horse and it is holding up beautifully. The leather is soft and supple. It is a very nice everyday halter. The leather is not a thick as some of the high end halters but for the price, it cannot be beat.

VERY poorly made. The lining is plastic and collects dirt which shows on my grey horse's face. I was saving it for show and the very first week I used it the throat latch clip broke so now it's useless. Waste of money.
