I bought these last year. They kept my hands nice and warm for a week or two and as the month wore on they deteriorated.(I work 6 out of 7 days a week) the outer layer froze as I was clearing ice from water buckets, and then tore off of one finger, leaving a hole and just the inner layer. So I suggest to keep them away from getting water on them. They did however, before getting a hole in them, keep your hands dry when they did get wet. The outer layer just became less durable to any rubbing afterwards. Yellow bits would rub off on lead ropes, frozen buckets, leather reins, rakes, brooms, pitchforks and so on. As a whole, these aren't very tough winter gloves...
