When I first saw these I thought how wonderful it would be to not have to zip down my half chaps all the time. Us old guys don't bend that easily! I wear the socks occasionally and they're fine over-all but tend to rotate around your leg. This tendency diminishes their pinch protection somewhat. The socks are well made, machine washable and the cool-max foot is a very nice touch.
