Our Horse got stuck in a Hi-tensile fence, his hind leg was literally skinned on the inside over 10 inches long and three plus inches wide. After several vet visits our vet recomended Schreiner's Herbal Solution. It is wonderful, actually controlling the proud flesh that was forming before I started to use it. It does I believe sting a little, but it is really helping the wound heal and dry so nice. I would strongly recomend this product.

A great product. We've used it often on various animals for various reasons. We've also used it on ourselves. However, I have to disagree with another reviewer who said it was painless. If you spray it on an open wound it most definitely stings. The Cayenne is strong. You also want to avoid breathing the overspray for the same reason. That being said, I still highly recommend SCHREINER'S. It often has worked for us when nothing else would.

This is a miracle product! My horse stepped into an old sewer hole and had a quite a gash on her leg in front of her hock. I tried a couple other ointments for about a week when a friend recommended Schreiners solution. I used it and w/in a couple days I saw real results! It only took about ten days for the wound to heal! Amazing! The only downside is that it does sting a lot when first applied so be careful especially if applying it to a leg. But its well worth the money!

Wound Care:
Step 1 -Clean the wound using cold water under pressure to remove any scab and discharge. Step 2 -Apply SchreinerÆs® liberally to the wound and surrounding area twice daily.Step 3 -Dress wound properly (only if necessary)Step 4 -every third or fourth day thoroughly clean the wound with cold water under pressure (a garden hose with a nozzle attached works great) and remove any new scab. Apply Schreiner's® twice a day.
Continue this treatment until the wound is healed.
