This deeper seated model brings you closer to the horse’s back for greater control and confidence over jumps and a better feel for your flatwork with the XCH system and carbon fiber-infused tree described below. Full-grain leather with wide sculpted panel and padded flap with triangle roll. Medium gullet plate included (others sold below). In dark havana or oakbark. I've owned and ridden in the Gen-X for five years. I did jump another horse for two years, loved the feel of the saddle. My mare now had an old injury, it was "cured" but I'm not taking chances, so we jump a small cross rail but that's it. I'm teaching her dressage, using the Gen-x, she is willing and learning. To put it simply, no one could get that saddle away from me. I ride a Hannoverian mare who can be a lot of horse and a bit on the hot side. I can feel everything she does or is about to do. And the saddle helps me communicate so well, my mare can feel everything I'm asking with my seat and legs.

The Gen X is a fantastic model for the all around rider- I use it for hacking, jumping, and trail. I'm still getting used to the slightly deeper seat, but without going to the flatter close-contact, it is a great saddle.

I LOVE THIS SADDLE!!! i love the XCH, i can use it on my lean mare and my fat pony!(LOL shes not Super fat, but like all ponies, she could loose a bit!)It gives me the security i need for the Big Eq. (3'6) this is the ultimate saddle. I LOVE IT ! its CLASSy duable, and show ring worthy! i trail ride in it too! buy it... NOW!!!!
