Overall I am VERY pleased with these chaps. I am very small under the knee and my ankles are also small. It was SO hard for me to find half chaps that fit, but these fit me so nice when I tried them on. I feel like every day I wear them they form right to my leg for a great ride!

These are the best Half Chaps I have ever purchased. The leather is buttery soft and the elastic back huggs your calf. They feel like custom chaps, so light and form fitting. A to Riding sport for making such a fantastic half chap.

I really like these half chaps. They are super soft and fit well. I don't like that my spurs have to go on over them because of the way they are cut. I had them for a year before my dog decided they were a great toy. I replaced them with another brand because I don't think they are quite worth the money.
For proper fit, Dover recommends that you take the time to determine your measurements before you order. Have another person measure your leg for the most accuracy. Half chaps should fit similarly to tall boots and should also come up into the back of your knee at first. When fitted properly, they will be difficult to zip at first, should be uncomfortably tight around the top, and will drop comfortably around your leg as they break in.
When referring to half chap sizing charts, it is important to keep in mind that all half chaps are measured at the widest part of the calf, but each brand measures height differently.
