I have been wearing this brand and style of breeches now for several years. We often have very mild winter days where I live, so I consider these to be year around breeches in my climate. In just a few weeks I will be 68. I like the pleated front because I don't have the figure I had 40 years ago. However, I would wear these breeches even if that were not true, simply because they are extremely comfortable. They are rugged and hold up well.
