Lined with cotton/poly mesh along with rip-stop nylon lining at the shoulder to prevent rubbing. No center seam. Adjustable front clip and dee closure. Ring at wither and adjustable loops inside neck secure neck cover. I bought this for my mare when she had just arrived at our barn. She was new so of course she did get a little beat up and so did her blanket. Within a week half of the fleece at the withers had been ripped off, one of the buckles wouldn't snap shut completely and there were many little rips. I had hoped that it would hold up a bit better :(

I've been through 3 Supreme Turnouts and none have lasted more than a week. The last one ripped right at the seam. I thought it was my horse's turnour buddies, then the paddock, but it's none of these. These sheets used to be good, but something seems to have changed.

Rider's International Supreme Turnouts

The Supreme Collection fabric is 1200 Denier Teflon®-coated nylon and offers many features including gussets, clip and dee front closure and the option for a neck cover.

Waterproof and Breathable Fabric repels water, yet allows excess moisture to escape.

Outer Shell 1200 Denier ripstop fabric is woven in a grid pattern to prevent tearing. Teflon® coated.

Front Closures Clip and dee front closures can be adjusted for optimum fit.

Gussets Extra-deep gussets at shoulders for freedom of movement.

Design Features No center seam to keep moisture out. Deeper fit helps hold blanket in place. Low cross surcingles. Ring and loops to secure neck covers.

Tail Flap Protects your horse from the elements and keeps blanket from shifting.

Leg Straps Adjustable leg straps prevent shifting and blowing up in the wind; also useful for horses that can pull their blankets off over their heads.

Fleece at Withers Prevents the blanket from rubbing the withers.

How to Measure Your Horse and Fit your Blanket

The fit of your blanket is extremely important to the comfort of your horse. Improperly fitting blankets can cause rubbing and slippage. To find blanket size, measure distance from center of the chest, across the point of the shoulder, and to the center of the tail. Many blankets are sized in two or three inch increments, so choose the closest size available.

Care of Your Blanket

Blankets should be cleaned annually. First, remove excess dirt with a brush or hose, then wash by hand or on a delicate cool water cycle. Use very mild soap. Allow to drip dry. Do not put blankets in the dryer as this will damage the waterproof coating and void any warranties.
