I am in So. Calif and my 2 yr old corgi/lab mix gets cold on my porch when its 50 outside. I was going camping in SE Utah and found that the night temps were going to be in the 20's, so started looking for doggie jackets. Found your website by accident and liked the look of this blanket/coat. It arrived a week before we were to leave. Perfect fit and my dog wore it early evenings, nights and early mornings. It never moved and it kept him warm and toasty. I like the blanket design much better than something with sleeves/zippers. This is made just like a horse blanket and will put up with a dog running through the brush and rolling in the dirt.

My female Basenji is a hard to fit escape artist... can take off any coat in three minutes. She adores this coat (doesn't even try to get out of it!) and it fits her beautiful with with all the running and jumping that she does. The surcingles stablize the coat, which keeps her toasty warm even in cold weather. Great buy

Living in California, most people woudn't think that my dogs need coats. But I have a 15 year old Rottie, that has no extra fat on her and she needs the extra warmth and water protection.
This blanket/coat is excellant. I have purchased several coats in the past and they are either too big or small, and the fixtures were poor in design. So the coat would slip and not keep her warm.
I got her coat a few days ago and it fits her like a custom item. In fact I'm ordering two more for my Bassets. And the quality for the price, makes this a must have.
