Reviewed By: Rose (NJ) I love this turnout. It fits, the fabric is comfortable and breathable and my horse stopped 'removing' his turnouts when I started buying Rhinos.
And I do think we forget about comfort when we dress our horses but my horse will have none of that. When he is uncomfortable he 'removes' his blanket. He gets down on the ground and wriggles, and wriggles, until he wriggles out of his clothing. I am told it takes him all day. He doesn't break any of the straps or hardware, he simply slips it over his head. He 'removed' his first Rambo when he was a year old and has been doing it ever since. But he leaves his Rhino's alone. They stay on, they keep him warm and dry and he is happy. The Rhino's are wonderfully waterproof and tough enough for any horse. My horse is only four and he plays rough. He lives in a 20 acre paddock with eleven (11) other horses and these blankets hold up. When the weather is bad you have 12 horses jostling for position in one large run-in. And his Rhino's hold up. He has a Rhino Wug Sheet, a Rhino Wug Med Blanket and a Rhino Plus Heavyweight and I do not have a bad thing to say about any of them. He is outside all day long and brought into a stall at night during Jan, Feb and Mar. The Rhino's keep him warm and dry outside and cool and comfortable when he comes inside at night.
Honestly, I don't know that if the Rhino fabric is as strong as the Rambo or the Pessoa fabrics but I watched my mare rip her Rambo in half (I am told this is impossible). Overall, the Rhino rugs fit well, keep the rain out and hold up. And if next year my horse has a few minor patches on his blanket, I don't think he will care.

Reviewed By: Maribeth (Indiana) I really liked the blanket and figured it would be the best option for my horse that cannot go a winter without ripping every blanket he's been given.
Although the material and all the features are fanastic, I was not impressed with the stitching. After about 2 weeks on indoor usage, the tail flap actually came off. It wasn't torn or ripped, the stitching actually came undone.
Thankfully it is easy to fix, but this is the most expensive blanket I've ever purchased and I didn't think I would be putting anymore money into it.
Also, the front buckles are tighter than the velco behind it so it bunches up.

Reviewed By: catherine (ca) This is the best light turnout I've ever bought! My growing 3 year old just graduated to an 81" and it fits her perfectly. She's had one each year and I keep buying the same blanket in a bigger size. The last two have been hunter green...I was a little unsure of this new color, but it's really beautiful in person. And the outer material seems even more durable. My girl is really hard on her blankets and this has been THE answer for her in blankets...and it has the high neckline which is great for a little added coverage.
