Rhino Barrier Technology puts the protective barrier on the inside, so if the outer fabric is damaged, the inner barrier remains intact. This thin inner layer is extremely waterproof and breathable. Polypropylene outer layer is 50% to 100% stronger on a strength-for-weight ratio than coated polyester. Rhino's Barrier technology changes the rules building on 3 core principles :

This sheet fits very well & the wug design keeps it in place. The high neck is great since it keeps the rain from running down the neck. It's pretty & I like the smooth lining inside. The front closure w/ the velcro keeps it in place.

Awesome blanket for the high wither or more upright neck-set horse. Have this for my Welsh Cob pony stallion. I like it because unlike other blankets it doesn't cut into the base of his neck and crest right before his wither. Haven't had a problem with it rubbing out his long mane. Also, works great on a very high withered TB because it takes the pressure off of the wither area. Never have had a problem with it sliding around either and the stud pony really puts it to the test. Perfect sheet for layering over a stable blanket for warmth but here in Florida it's about all we need for most of the winter.

Just got my first Rhino high neck turnout sheet... and will never go back to anything else. Suffered through deteriorating Weatherbeeta quality, then thanks to the recent sale, got the Rhino. Great design - chest velcro that is well thought out and actually stays velcroed!, a tail loop on the tail flap, heavy duty hardware, high quality.Gotta give it to the Irish, they make great beer and amazing horse blankets! Love it!

How to Measure Your Horse and Fit your Blanket

The fit of your blanket is extremely important to the comfort of your horse. Improperly fitting blankets can cause rubbing and slippage. To find blanket size, measure distance from center of the chest, across the point of the shoulder, and to the center of the tail. Many blankets are sized in two or three inch increments, so choose the closest size available.

Care of Your Blanket

Blankets should be cleaned annually. First, remove excess dirt with a brush or hose, then wash by hand or on a delicate cool water cycle. Use very mild soap. Allow to drip dry. Do not put blankets in the dryer as this will damage the waterproof coating and void any warranties.
