Purchased this fly sheet a month or so ago for my Arab mare to help resolve a huge reaction to a fly bite. She has worn it 24/7 except for every Sunday night when it gets washed. She has put it through the wringer rubbing against my no climb fencing and rolling and other than a few pulls in the fabric it is holding up extremely well. I decided to purchase a similar sheet, made by another company, (it was on clearance), for my Paint mare. It was torn to shreds in two days. What a waste of money, but you get what you pay for.

i tried the sheet on my mare on today and was VERY unhappy. The material is thick and WAY too hot. She worked up a lather in less than thirty minutes (80 degree weather too). I hate to send it back but i have no choice. The sizes run a tad small. Honestly, just don't waste the money :(

Haven't used fly sheets before so can't compare, but this product is TOUGH! Our two horses have a nasty case of sweet/summer itch and, nothing else having worked, we tried full body sheets to stop the bites. The sheets did this, AND have stood up to the most vigorous scratching and rolling for over a week of continuous wear. I only deducted one star because they did not wash up as white as they started, but I did only use a quick and gentle wash, so perhaps next time I'll try a stronger wash.
