The Horseware Story: In 1985, Horseware® Ireland was founded by Tom and Carol MacGuinness and their team in Dundalk, Ireland whose members shared a joint goal: produce a horse blanket that didn’t slip, leak or cause the horse to sweat. The result of this endeavor turned out to be a revolutionary blanket that has become the now iconic Rambo® Original. Truly breathable, waterproof and comfortable, that first blanket set the standard for all other horse blankets and placed Horseware Ireland center stage as the worlds’ most trusted producer of horse rugs.

Since the debut of the Rambo Original, Horseware Ireland has continued to create innovative products that make the lives of horses and riders better. Its most famous product lines revolve around its blanket brands: Rambo as the premier, top-of-the-line range, followed by Rhino® with its unique barrier technology, and the Amigo® collection, which offers all the great features found in the Horseware family at the most attainable price point.
