Deeply Disappointed

I bought this show coat after my shoulders got a bit too muscular for ease of movement in my old coat. I'm 5'7" and this one is a good length (doesn't bind at the posting or sitting trot). I didn't like the black plastic buttons so I bought some silver ones at Wal-Mart ($4) and had them sewn on at my local tailor ($5) and Voila! I had a show coat that looked better than many I knew cost several hundred dollars at my next show. $10 worth of tailoring was well worth it! It's light weight and was great in the 95 degree heat that day.

Ridiculously Small

I am going to have to send back a second jacket now because this runs so small. I have never had such a hard time fitting a hunt coat. The lines and cut are flattering, but the sizing is way off. The shoulders and length are just right but the sleeve length is laughable and only the top button can be done. I hope that with the next size up that the length is still good... It would be helpful to have specific sizing indications on the website so I could save (now $60) in return shipping costs.

Nice jacket for the money! I own it in Navy, which is a true, dark blue that hasn't faded at all after making several trips through the washing machine! This jacket is very comfortable to wear, even in hot and humid weather, and I agree about ordering at least one size larger than you might normally wear. Stitching and buttons are holding up very well, too. I will definitely re-purchase when/if necessary.
