not what I was expecting

I really liked these breeches when I saw them in the catalog, but when I tried them on they ran large and made for an unflattering appearance. When I tightened the velcro around my ankles, it was so wide that is was as if it were made for my knee. These breeches are very cute, but not for me.

Some reviewers have said that these breeches run small; but I find them to be very true to size. I ordered one pair in another color from another catalog and liked the fabric, fit and styling so much that I ordered a second pair in a different color from Dover for a BETTER PRICE.

Received my breeches today. They are fantastic - I tried them on approx. nd hour ago and am still wearing them as they are so comfortable. Size wise they do run slightly smaller but with the high percentage of cotton in the fabric (97%) I would expect them to give a little upon wear. Love the cut, love the look, love the feel!!!

Just got these breeches yesterday. They are very cool! However, they run SMALL. I am a normal size 28 and I can't even get them over my hips. I am going to send them back and try at 30. One other thing is that the stitching on the back pocket is very loosely stitched and I am not sure if it will come apart upon first washing or not. Will see what the other pair looks like.

Love these breeches. The weight of the denim is light, so they are great for summer. Especially like the detailing on the back pocket. They look great!
