I was looking around for a helmet to invest in since I now ride all different kinds of horses. I have only worn this helmet a couple times and I already LOVE IT! It stays cooler than any helmet that I have worn on my head and its very comfortable. I also love the way it looks! The only dislike I have is the leather strap part is a little stiff, but I am sure it will break in with use. No matter I still rate this helmet with 5 stars and recommend it to others!

I used to have an older model of the IRH helmets and I absolutely HATED it so I saved up for the Charles Owen GR8 and fell in love. But I wanted to keep it in good shape for shows (and it's too hot for everyday summer riding in FL) so I went back on the market for a good schooling helmet. I wanted a helmet that was inexpensive enough for everyday riding but nice enough that I could take in the show ring if needed. I went to the Dover store in Alpharetta, GA one summer to try on helmets and was very skeptical about the new IRH helmets since I passionately hated my old one. But the lady in the store was very helpful and fitted me perfectly into this helmet and I have loved it ever since. (I actually question whether or not I like it better than my GR8. I know the Charles Owen helmets are more ''fashionable" on the circuit but this helmet was half the price, fit just as well, and was much cooler due to the vents.) The only thing I must warn about this helmet is that the material does make it easy to scratch but

I bought this helmet because I needed a schooling helmet to wear. I have been using a charles Owens Gr8, and although I really love it, I wanted to keep it clean and preserved for shows. I saw this one, and I was shocked about how inexpensive it was (compared to GPA...), and how great it looked. When the helmet arrived, I couldn't have been more happy about it! It was lightweight, yet supper durable and I get complements all of the time! It fits my head like a glove and don't give a "bobble head" look. I not only use this helmet for schooling, but also in the jumper ring! LOVE LOVE LOVE this helmet, but my only complaint is that the paint chips if used frequently...but that can be resoled with a black sharpie! Five stars!

This is a very light, well-ventilated, and stylish helmet. Charles Owens are too narrow for my head and this fit perfectly. The harness goes all the way around the back and feels very secure. I can actually feel a breeze through it when cantering! The vents are much more subtle than they might seem. Overall, this helmet is a fabulous buy for the price. Definately recommend.

I love how this helmet is so comfy and the style looks great in the show ring, my only thing is that I took a big fall right after I purchased this helmet through dover and now the side of the helmet is all scratched up, I dont have the money to purchase another helmet for the show season.
