Close contact dressage saddle with a narrow twist. Today’s riders will appreciate the spring tree with its narrow twist for correct positioning and closer contact. The SP allows closer contact and eliminates sitting “too high” and being unable to feel the horse’s movement. Special thigh supports keep leg in place. Pittards® non-slip leather on seat and knee pads provides a secure seat. Wool-flocked panels offer a wider weight-bearing surface for greater comfort. Black. From the moment I first sat down into this saddle it was as though it had been custom made for me. I stress the words DOWN INTO, as that is exactly how this saddle feels: centered, balanced, and very secure. There is no feeling of perching on top of the saddle. I can feel my horse's every move. The leather is a beautiful matte black, lovely to look at, soft, and a delight to the hand. There has been no breaking in period. This saddle simply doesn't need one. It is as comfortable as a favorite glove.
