I have just had my first test ride in this saddle. My 17.2 hd stallion has finally stopped growing so I needed a new saddle to fit his mature shape. For the first 15 minutes of riding in the saddle I was very undecided about how I like it but after I did my walk/trot warm up and cantered I began to fit into the proper position more easily and then found the saddle to be exactly what I was looking for. I am rather small and found myself sliding around in the saddle I used previously. This saddle gives me a secure seat without being restrictive and feels very "flexible" not rigid at all. I hope it keeps this same feeling over time and does not get squishy feeling.

It is exceptionally well made, portraying Stubben's wonderful construction and attention to every detail, down to the last stitch. The wool flocking is very fine and molds to your horses back. When my saddle fitter came out he dubbed it one of the nicest saddles.
