I got the paddock boots in October , and started to wear them when the weather turned cold in Nov.'08. The zippers have been stiff and hard to move from day one, even though they were kept clean and nothing was getting caught in the zipper. Finally the zippers stopped working at all, and the boot got stuck on my foot. They are being sent back for an exchange. After only wearing them for 3.5 months.

I ordered the paddock boots and when I tried them on, they were sill to small. I could not even get them zipped 1/2 way up. I was very disapointed in the sizing but the actual quality of the boot appeared to be quite good.

If these paddock boots are anything like the Fusion Tall Winter Boots, you will LOVE them. I just got the Fusion Tall Winter Boots (they are available in the catalog - phone order), and I can't believe how flexible and comfortable they are. They actually weren't what I was expecting; I was expecting a somewhat stiffer calf, and was surprised and delighted to find out how amazingly flexible they are....right out of the box! Even in an indoor, Minnesota winters are cold -and Mountain Horse delivers a nice product for cold climates. I also own the Ice Rider Tall Winter Boots, and really like them. The Fusion, however, is a step up. If you are in a cold climate, I think you will like them.
