I am originally from Portland, OR, but last year went to college in Boston. I was afraid of winter riding, but these boots were amazing! They were the best item I ever bought. Especially with hand (or toe) warmers in the boot your feet will never be cold again.

These boots are awesome! They kept my feet reasonably warm, even though I live in freezing Wisconsin. They are a bit heavy and more bulky than regular paddock boots, only because the are insulated. I still would reccomend putting foot or even hand warmers (the kind you shake then trow away when you're done) in the toe of the boots to keep your feet thawed.
