Devon-Aire® Hampton Zip Field Boot
100% top grain calfskin riding boot is contoured for a custom fit. With elongated Spanish top. Reinforced nylon stitching holds up to moisture. Shock absorbing outsole, carbon steel shank for support and stability, cushioned comfort insert. YKK self-sealing zipper. Polymer acid resistant UGS sole for traction and long wear. Punched toe cap, spur rests. Ladies' full and half sizes 5-10, slim, regular or wide calf.
For proper fit, Dover recommends that you take the time to determine your measurements before you order. Have another person measure your leg for the most accuracy. Properly fitted tall boots will, at first, be uncomfortably tight around the top of the boot and should come up into the back of your knee. They should be difficult to pull on and off or zip up. As they break in, they will drop comfortably around your leg.

When referring to tall boot sizing charts, it is important to keep in mind that all tall boots are measured at the widest part of the calf, but each brand measures height differently.

How to Measure for Tall Boots:

1. Wear the clothing (breeches, tights, socks, etc.) you are most likley to wear with your boots.
2. Sit in a straight chair with feet flat on the floor and knees at a 90 degree angle.
3. Measure calf around the widest part, and measure height from the floor to back of the knee.
4. Add 1 1/2" - 2" to measured height to allow for drop as your boots break in.

For individual size charts and meaurements, please refer to the "Size Guide" link that appears on the product page.

These are very good boots. I've had mine for 3 years (I bought them second hand) and they've held up very nicely. They took a while to break in, and the sole has no grip on the ground, but other than that they are very nice boots. Just be careful walking on cement!

Good all around boots, very comfortable. A little wide in the leg, but nice looking. A little hard to break in, but break in nicely. Good boot!

I bought these boots on a college student budget, hoping that for this price, they'd last several years at least. When i got them, they were pretty wide, but seemed like a fairly decent boot. After a couple wears, the top leather started to part and wrinkle where the calf comes in contact with the horse/saddle. I was very disappointed in these boots, and I have returned them. But if you're not competing on the upper circuit, they are a good buy.
