A Rider's International medium weight turnout blanket designed for the broader, more developed horse. 1260 denier ballistic nylon shell with 200 grams of insulation of exceptional warmth. Nylon lining. Shoulder darts with more room to prevent rubbing and a deeper fit than other blankets. A no-center seam design keeps moisture out. Double front surcingle closures, low cross surcingles, leg straps and tail flaps. In dark brown with brown trim or blue with black trim. Sizes 69"-87" (3" increments).
How to Measure Your Horse and Fit your Blanket
The fit of your blanket is extremely important to the comfort of your horse. Improperly fitting blankets can cause rubbing and slippage. To find blanket size, measure distance from center of the chest, across the point of the shoulder, and to the center of the tail. Many blankets are sized in two or three inch increments, so choose the closest size available.
Blankets should be cleaned annually. First, remove excess dirt with a brush or hose, then wash by hand or on a delicate cool water cycle. Use very mild soap. Allow to drip dry. Do not put blankets in the dryer as this will damage the waterproof coating and void any warranties.

stable blanket this past winter and it was very sturdy- simply layered it with another blanket for turnout. It looks just as good now as it did when I bought it. I wish it was offered as a sheet because the fit is excellent and it has held up so well. I also really liked how it fit higher on my horses neck - it minimized the mud I had to groom off. I wish it came in a no fill sheet - I'd definitely buy one.

Reviewed By: AR (MA) Very nice blanket. The only thing I dislike is that the trim around the neck is a tight fit for my draft cross. I have to alternate this blanket with other blankets. I worry that the trim will cut into his neck if he were to wear this blanket all the time.
