I got these for my partner years ago, and never tried them myself. WOW, for the first time I felt completely relaxed and the ease of keeping my heels down was wonderful and effortless. No weird pinching/pushing against a flat stirrup pad that pulled on a thin part of the ball of my foot. The weird mechanics of a flat level foot pad and the pressure trying to push it into a slanted position when your heels are down, is gone. The whole stirrup pad was against the sole of my foot, and that matched the angle of my foot in it's heel down position. Absolutely wonderful! Of course it does help too if you make sure the stirrup is threaded onto the leathers so the tilt part is towards the rear of the saddle, LOL. But once you get them onto the leathers correctly, it's wonderful! I'm buying me a set today!

These stirrup irons work great and are wonderful to use. They look good and the grips help. And they really help me keep my heels down! Wonderful! I would get another pair!
