I owned the standard english SMX girth and was very happy with it, so thought I would love this one. It is OK, but different then pictured. The billet keepers are not as nice (one large loop very close to the buckles), and my horse seems to be more sensitive when I cinch up (compared to a mohair girth). I will probably be switching back to my mohair.

This girth is nice looking, lasts long and is easy to clean. But it pinched my horse's skin and he doesn't like it anymore. (it was fine at first)

This girth is pretty awesome. I've had it for over 3 years and its still as good as new! You can separate the two parts of the girth to make it easier to clean too. I just wipe it off with a damp rag and its all clean. My horse likes it too as it doesn't rub or move like some other dressage girths do.
