Whether you're using a debit card or credit card, it's tedious to type in payment information for every purchase. That's why we provide the option to save your payment information when you complete your order using My Account. It makes paying for your purchases even faster. In addition, when you save your card information with Dover, the information is transmitted to our servers over a secured connection. Because this information is encrypted, Dover does not store or have direct access to your credit card details. This information can be sent to our payment partners to process a transaction, but cannot be read by Dover, and therefore cannot be used by identity thieves in the extremely rare event that any breach of security ever occur.
To add a card to your stored cards, first make sure you have an account with Dover - setting up an account is quick and easy. On checkout, log in and then simply enter the payment information, and choose “save this card”, and it will be available for use on your next purchase. You can remove your payment details at any time from your Dover account settings. Sign into your account, scroll down, and under Manage Cards you will find any cards that we have on file will be listed. Click Delete to remove any card from the database. If no cards are displayed, no cards are stored within the system.
