I can't believe how difficult it is to find a well-made, all black crop these days. Bought this one with fingers crossed, and wasn't disappointed. The higher price did equate to higher quality, crop is nicely stitched and wonderfully durable.

I definitely agree with the other review, this crop is fantastic! It IS a bit more expensive and heavy than average crops, but definitely worth it! It looks smart and classy, and I have got tons of compliments! The leather is extremely durable, and I have used it in the summer and winter. If it gets dirty, water and some leather soap should make it look as good as new. I think this crop is better for jumping, but it works for dressage pretty well too! The horses react very quickly to this, unlike those other cheap crops. I recommend this to everyone, who wants a durable, classy, and effective crop! Thanks Dovers, for this great product! :D

I would recommend this crop to anyone who asks! My friends and other riders I know are always snapping their less expensive crops by accident, but this one has lasted for years without any signs of wear. It is a bit heavier than the average crop, but I believe that its worth it. Also, the price is higher than the others, but you would pay the same price buying crop after crop of the other type. Pros: Durable, Doesn't break, looks good Cons: Heavy, price
