How to Measure Your Horse and Fit your Blanket
The fit of your blanket is extremely important to the comfort of your horse. Improperly fitting blankets can cause rubbing and slippage. To find blanket size, measure distance from center of the chest, across the point of the shoulder, and to the center of the tail. Many blankets are sized in two or three inch increments, so choose the closest size available.
Blankets should be cleaned annually. First, remove excess dirt with a brush or hose, then wash by hand or on a delicate cool water cycle. Use very mild soap. Allow to drip dry. Do not put blankets in the dryer as this will damage the waterproof coating and void any warranties.

Reviewed By: Katie (PA) I bought this blanket to keep an older arabian warm in the winter. The blanket fits him well. There is no rubbing on his shoulders, and he stays nice and toasty through the night. The blanket has held up extremely well when it comes to repelling dirt, mud, and water. Yet it remains breathable. I also loved the color options. The clips that wrap around his hind legs are placed up higher on the blanket than my weatherbeeta, so there's no manure stuck to the clips in the morning. I'm planning on buying one for my warmblood next year.

Reviewed By: Connie (Texas) This is a good quality blanket for a reasonable price. The fabric and stitching is A+. I would buy it again. The only problem: Your advertisement states "Each turnout carries the Pessoa signature and comes with a free Pessoa carry bag." The "carry bag" is the clear plastic bag with a zipper and handles that the turnout blanket was packaged in.
