I have to say that I concur with all the reviews on this great product. I am also not fond of 'gadgets', but there is a time and place for them. I did a lot of research and worst I found was that some think this stretcher fixes the front of the horse and not the back. As for my specific case, I have to say that I disagree. I have years of foundational training in dressage and believe in working back to front, and have been able to successfully do this on other horses with no ?gadgets?. However, my Trakehner mare is so forward and powerful that I get physically exhausted trying to work her back to front usually to no avail. She also came to me with a front suspensory injury and vet said no circles or soft footing for a very long time. Without circles and having to work in straight lines, it's been nearly impossible to get her to engage after she healed and came off rest. This item has been life changing. I can honestly say that when I use it, she is much more relaxed and fully engaged from back to front. Her e
