A Level 1 loose ring snaffle bit by Myler with free-rotating barrel and curved mouthpiece. Applies maximum tongue pressure with little to no bar or lip pressure. Great for horses just beginning training.
This Level 1 D ring bit is for horses beginning training. It utilizes mostly tongue pressure and collapse onto the bars. This bit has a free-rotating barrel and a curved mouthpiece that will never pinch. Independent side movement allows the rider to isolate one side of the bit for bending, balancing or lifting a shoulder.
Myler bits offer many features including: curved mouthpiece, which permits the horse to swallow more freely and distributes pressure evenly, copper inlayed mouthpiece to encourage salivation, optional hooks which offer leverage allowing a rider to use less rein pressure and independent side movement within the mouthpiece, which allows a rider to isolate one side of the bit, assisting in lifting a shoulder or in balancing, bending or collection. 6" shank.
The Myler Loose Ring Comfort Snaffle MB 04 is a Level 2 bit. The bars of the bit are curved, which wraps the bars and lips instead of pinching them and creates more space for the horse's tongue under the bit. Used for starting young horses and for retraining a mature horse.
