Myler Wide Barrel Loose Ring Comfort Snaffle Horse Bit MB 02
|
|
| Myler bits offer many features including: curved mouthpiece, which permits the horse to swallow more freely and distributes pressure evenly, copper inlayed mouthpiece to encourage salivation, optional hooks which offer leverage allowing a rider to use less rein pressure and independent side movement within the mouthpiece, which allows a rider to isolate one side of the bit, assisting in lifting a shoulder or in balancing, bending or collection. The Level 1 bit is for horses beginning training, utilizing mostly tongue pressure, and collapse onto the bars. |

Reviewed By: HorseTackReview.com (PA) I love the copper inlay. My horse loves to chew on the bit as soon as I put it in and before I take it out. The independent side action is really great for lifting a shoulder, lateral movements, and pulling up a horses head who's bucking.

Reviewed By: Lori (South Carolina) I use this bit with my 10 yo OTTB gelding. He had major issues with bits when I got him and he loves this one!! I need to find out if you guys ever got confirmation of approval for USDF training level as that is what I want to do! I had a friend who did the bit check at the last local dressage show tell me it's not legal because of the "roller"! Let me know what you find out - - he loves this bit and I really don't want to change it! I was going to go with the MB 10 if all else fails. Thanks.

Reviewed By: SC (IL) According to USEF rule book rule DR121 this bit should be legal I would suggest filing a complaint with USEF.
