Warm and dry but not durable

I loved these boots for their warmth and soft brown leather until their zipper completely broke on me while riding in them for approximately 4 months. The side zip is a bad idea.

I just got these boots for Christmas. The leather is soft and they are comfortable. My only dislike is that the sole seems a little clunky/big. I wear a 8 1/2 and ordered a 9. They may be a tad big but not bad. Overall though a nice boot.

I bought these boots last winter and rode in them frequently enough, for about 3 months. I went to use them again this winter, and they worked, for about a month. the leather bunched up so much at the ankles that while I was riding, the zipper broke open and will not close anymore. It was a waste of money and I'm going to Mountain Horse for my next pair. I feel like this wouldn't have happened if the zipper were in the back.
