I have fit problems, Ariat terrain endurance shoes size 11 and 11 newbalance sneakers fit me, but ariat 11 western boots are too narrow. I bought these in size 11 and they fit perfectly, so order your normal sneaker size. They are plenty warm and I only wear normal sized socks. The top part worked well with breaches or tucked in flannel lined jeans.
I felt like Darth Vader clunking around in them as they are a bit clunky walking around. I kept doing the Frankenstien walk..LOL. But once in the saddle they are fine. The foot and ankle loosened up after one ride. They are warm, rainproof, keep my pants down, comfortable to ride in. They dont really hold spurs well. Normally I only use the top leather spur strap, but these required the under the heal strap as well to keep them in place.
