It features a taped waterproof and breathable membrane with an in-between layer of Thermolite to keep foot dry and warm. High-density foam insulation in shaft is covered by Duralon 1200 armor weave for unsurpassed protection in medium to extreme weather conditions. Soft nylon lining and removable insole. Highly recommend this boot! It is constructed very well and is extremely comfortable. I ride at least 4 days a week and have had them for about 2 weeks. In temperatures below freezing, my feet never get cold. Actually, my feet usually sweat even in a light sock (don't wear a heavy sock as they prescribe) but the boot retains heat. They also wear in pretty quickly. Thanks for the great deal too Dover!

This boot is very warm. I got these for winter riding for a real bargin. They only need a wipe off with a damp cloth and a a quick dry to clean them after you ride. Break in in one to three days. Will keep you warm AND dry. They do leak slightly in the zipper if submerged in water for a few seconds, but what zipper boot doesn't? I highly recomend it.
