Fit Fiasco

The idea of a tall boot made in rubber that can be used around the barn, out in the muck and for riding really appealed to me. Although there was only one customer review for this boot, it was 4 star and pretty positive, so, I thought I'd give it a try. As always, the order from Dover arrived promptly and, although the boot appears to be as advertised and even appears as if it should be large enough, I'll never know how well or poorly it performs. I cannot get them on my feet. I ordered a men's size 11, which is normally very roomy for me. The extra space easily can be filled with thick, comfy socks. However, with the thinnest socks I own, I cannot pull this boot onto my foot. No way. Not if my life depended on it. It is simply WAY too tight across the ankle area for a foot to pass through. Needless to say, I am terribly disappointed and the boots are being returned ASAP. Did I mention how disappointed I am? Bummer.
